Letter: Physical therapist thanks patients before moving on
Published 10:21 am, Sunday, July 27, 2014
After 33 years of providing physical therapy services to Darien and the surrounding communities, I would like to announce that I am retiring from practice at the end of the month.
It has been my privilege to assist many members of the community in reaching their health and fitness goals, and in doing so, many of you have become much more than patients: You are my friends. I want to thank you for your patronage, support and, most of all, the trust you have instilled in me and our staff by referring your friends and family to our office.
I've been blessed to work with a wonderful group of first-class co-workers who share my vision in providing quality and caring treatment to our patient family. We have all mutually benefited from each other's years of experience, and as I leave Darien, I'm thrilled my peers will continue to provide the excellent care that you, my friends, have come to know and expect from me.
After leaving this practice (Darien Physical Therapy Center), my wife, Carol, and I will be active in southern New Jersey, where Carol will continue caring for her aging parents. We also look forward to continuing our volunteer work for CURE International, a medical ministry which works toward curing sick and crippled children in developing nations. What else I'll be involved with, I'm not exactly sure. When I left Dr. Hans Kraus' New York City practice in 1979, I told Dr. Kraus: "I don't know what the future holds, but I know who holds the future -- God." And I know that is still true.

I wish you God's very best in your future.
