Celebrate local first responders on EMS Week
National EMS Week, May 20-26, is designated to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line." The communities served by Norwalk Hospital are very fortunate to have such caring, skilled and committed individuals who provide round-the-clock emergency medical services. On behalf of Norwalk Hospital, I extend our sincere gratitude to all the EMS Services and the First Responders that serve our communities:

New Canaan Volunteer Ambulance Corps
Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps
Weston EMS
Darien Volunteer Ambulance, Post 53

They demonstrate each day that "EMS is more than a job. It is a calling," which is this year's theme for EMS Week.
