NEW MILFORD — The town-owned Sullivan Farm is once again being run and managed by the New Milford Youth Agency.

Management of the 106-acre farm on Park Lane Road had been turned over to a nonprofit group, the Friends of Sullivan Farm, in the spring of 2012.

But when the group’s farm manager, Joe Listro, left the group in 2013, the Friends of Sullivan Farm stepped back, and the farm was leased for two growing seasons by two young farmers, Riva Martin and Graham Baldwin.

At the end of last year’s growing season, Martin and Baldwin moved on to new ventures, leaving the farm without farmers.

This season, Mayor David Gronbach has asked New Milford Youth Agency Director Mark Mankin to once again take on the job of running and managing the farm.
