Greenwich High School boys golf coach Jeff Santilli can't wait to see what his team can accomplish each match.

The Cardinals have yet to fail to impress Santilli so far this season in soaring to a record of 11-0. Tuesday, Greenwich produced another eye-opening performance, outshooting Trinity Catholic, 144-164, at Griffith E. Harris Golf Course.

Junior Danny Guise shot a 2-under-par 34, junior Chris Pavelic carded a 1-under-par 35 and sophomore Paul Pastore finished with a even-par 36 for the Cardinals.

"It's real exciting to see what this team can do each match," Santilli said. "We've consistently had some of the best scores each match in the 13 years that I've coached this team. These scoring averages are the lowest I have seen since I've bee here."

Senior Stephen Pastore shot a 39 for Greenwich, which will play McMahon and Norwalk at Oak Hills on Thursday at 3:15 p.m.

BRUNSWICK 182, HOPKINS 205: The Bruins are heading into Monday's FAA Tournament in top form. Andre Masse shot a 33, Daniel Weld carded a 35 and Jay Wong posted a 36 for Brunswick (21-2). Bryan Quackenbush and Tom Dunleavy also had strong rounds, as they each shot a 39.

The FAA Tournament will take place at the Country Club of New Canaan.

Meighan Grady of the Dragons scored the game-winner with 41 seconds remaining. The Tigers led 8-7 at halftime and increased their advantage to 11-7 early in the second half before Greens Farms mounted a comeback.

"We struggled with the draw, especially in the second half," CSH coach Courtney DePeter said. "We went up 11-7, then they started chipping away by getting the draw controls."

Senior attack Maggie Annecchino, senior midfielder Jen Schwabe and junior midfielder Taylor Ryan each recorded hat tricks for Sacred Heart (6-3).
