Kathy McShane, managing director of Ladies Who Launch, Southwestern CT, was honored at the First Annual Women of Distinction Luncheon & Networking Social.

New doctor

at Oral Surgery

Dr. Philip Pacelli announces the association of Dr. Steven E. Smullin to New Canaan Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery P.C.

Smullin specializes in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, which include the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions, defects, injuries, and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. He has particular interest in surgical reconstruction of the jaws, including bone grafting, dental implants, and orthognathic surgery.

In addition to joining New Canaan Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Smullin has staff privileges at Greenwich Hospital.

Prior to joining Pacelli, Smullin was a staff physician for four years at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Mass. Smullin earned his bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College.

He received his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Smullin is a siplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Re-entry expert to address forum

Career re-entry expert and iRelaunch co-founder Vivian Rabin will speak at a free forum at Stanwich Congregational Church Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., on how to relaunch a professional career after an extended absence from the workforce.
