Darien Rowayton Bank has partnered with Camp Sunshine, an effort that will provide funding for families of ill children from Connecticut to attend sessions at the Camp's Casco, Maine campus, as well as raise awareness of the camp's activities in the communities the bank serves.
"We are pleased to be working with such a unique and worthwhile organization," said Bob Kettenmann, president of Darien Rowayton Bank. "Camp Sunshine provides a truly life changing experience for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families."
Matthew Hoidal, executive director of Camp Sunshine, applauded the partnership.
"Through this commitment from Darien Rowayton Bank, Camp Sunshine will be able to deepen its reach into Connecticut, increasing and enhancing support to sick children and families in the Bank's surrounding communities, and throughout the state," he said. "We are grateful to the bank and its management for this support and partnership."
Darien Rowayton Bank will feature an informational display on Camp Sunshine in its lobby throughout the summer.
