Atria Darien will showcase the paintings of Stan Pastore Saturday, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. Pastore retired after 45 years in corporate, residential and architectural design. He segued into the world of watercolor, traveling both here and abroad, where he was able to absorb the enthusiasm and techniques employed by many acknowledged artists in their profession. Pastore is a member of the New Canaan Society of the Arts, Greenwich Art Society and the Rowayton Art Center His works have been selected for exhibit in many juried shows and he has been honored with a number of awards including First Place at the Darien Art Center Show in 2007 and Best in Show at the Center in 2006.
