Singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb, known for her chart-topping hit “Stay (I Missed You)” and “Feel What U Feel,” her 2016 Grammy-winning collection of children’s music, will be performing a show for adults Friday, Aug. 9, and for children on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Norwalk’s Wall Street Theater.

Besides music, the Los-Angeles based artist has also acted in TV and film, and has gained recognition for her voice-over talent by providing voices for several animated television shows and video games, as well as authored of a couple of kids’ CD books. She also has developed her own line of eyewear inspired by her iconic style, making it available to ladies and tweens. Then there’s a charity-driven coffee brand that helps funds her Camp Lisa Foundation, which sends kids to summer camp.

“The thing with the kids’ music is that it’s helped me focus,” the 51-year-old mother of two told the Toronto Star. “I’m always writing songs, so anytime I’d get 14 or 15 songs finished, I’d make a record. I put together a collection as I’m writing, whereas my kids projects, I try to write songs that will fit into a theme.”
