Amy Simon Fine Art, 1869 Post Road East, Westport, announces its latest exhibition, Summer Rotation 2011. The exhibition opens July 16.

The show features work by gallery artists, including David Ambrose; Stephen Dinsmore; Cara Enteles; Gregory Hilton; Catherine Howe; Jung Hyang Kim and Nancy Lasar.

The artists' work will rotate throughout the summer so that visitors will have an opportunity to see new art as the exhibition continues. These six artists work in a variety of styles and mediums.

Ambrose creates gouache and watercolor works on paper that are incredibly detailed and intricate.

With painstaking discipline, he pierces the paper so that works have dimension, color and movement.

Dinsmore synthesizes abstraction and representation. In both landscapes and interior scenes, the artist creates visual poetry. The works are magical and mysterious.

Enteles paints on multiple sheets of acrylic. The layers create vibrant and sensual color combined with lyrical beauty. The richness of texture and brushstroke creates work that has references to nature, but is painterly and abstract.
