The Shubert Theatre’s Saturday night show is a get-up-and-cheer event for fans of TV dance programs. You have dancer-choreographer Travis Wall of “All The Right Moves” on Oxygen Channel and “So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox. Then there’s Lex Ishimoto, the recent winner of “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Wall’s company also features Gaby Diaz, another “SYTYCD” winner and Ishimoto’s dance partner on the show, and Taylor Sieve of the show. The touring version has been at the Shubert in the Elm City twice before, says Shubert marketing chief Anthony Lupinacci.

“The show that we will be having, ‘Shaping Sound — After The Curtain,’ is the company’s new show,” Lupinacci wrote in an email. “They are a very popular company and always sell very well. The audience is very young and they really are expressive after every dance piece; the applause and cheers are tremendous - similar to a concert reaction.”

This 10-month-old “After the Curtain” tells the story of a man fighting to find his creative voice after the death of his one true love. Wall will dance the part of protagonist Vincent. Another “SYTYCD” winner, Nick Lazzarni, will dance the part of Leo, Vincent’s brother and sometimes tormentor.
