ANSONIA — The 12th annual winter festival will take place on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Burr Pond State Park.

The festival is expected to run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the state park located at 384 Burr Mountain Road in Torrington.

No registration is required and it is a free event.

There will be plenty of entertainment possibilities at the event, including ice fishing, ice safety, a bonfire, marshmallow roasting, a fish fry, snowshoeing, winter games, search and rescue dogs, ice sculptures and winter hikes.
