Darien forecast: A hint of summer

Skies across southwestern Connecticut today will be cloudier than yesterday's brilliantly clear vistas, but that won't keep temperatures from getting warmer, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature is expected to rise to the mid-70s, with a west wind between 7 and 14 mph.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature around 60 degrees and a west wind between 7 and 9 mph, the NWS says.
The temperature rises even higher tomorrow, with readings expected in the low-80s under sunny skies. Overnight, there will be patchy fog in some areas, and the temperature will fall to a low in the upper-50s.
Tuesday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature about 75 degrees. Conditions will also be breezy, with a northwest wind registering between 10 and 13 mph, gusting as high as 24 mph. By nighttime, there is a slight chance of showers and the temperature will decline to a low of about 50 degrees.
The outlook for Wednesday, the weather service predicts, is for partly sunny skies and a high temperature in the low-60s.
