Darien forecast: A wet, warming trend

Clear skies this morning will grow cloudy later today, according to the National Weather Service, with the possibility of showers tonight.
The daytime high temperature will rise to the mid-40s in southwestern Connecticut, with a south wind between 11 and 14 mph.
Overnight, there is a chance of light rain, mainly between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. tomorrow. Skies will be cloudy, with a low temperature falling to the mid-30s and a southwest wind between 6 and 10 mph.
Tomorrow should be milder, with a high temperature in the mid-50s. Skies will be partly cloudy, with a west wind between 6 and 15 mph. By nighttime, there is a chance of light rain, mainly before midnight with a low of about 40 degrees, the NWS says.
On Thursday, there is again a chance of rain under cloudy skies with a high temperature in the mid-50s. Precipitation is also possible Thursday night as the temperature falls to a low of about 40 degrees.
More rain is likely Friday, the weather service predicts, with a high temperature rising again to the mid-50s.
