Darien forecast: Bright and brisk

Today should be brighter than yesterday, according to the National Weather Service, but cooler.
Skies across southwestern Connecticut are expected to be sunny most of the day, with a daytime high temperature in the low-60s. There will be a northwest wind 9 to 16 mph.
Tonight should be clear, with the temperature dipping to a low about 40 degrees. There will be a northwest wind 3 to 5 mph.
Tomorrow also should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-60s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the upper-40s.
Sunny conditions are again expected to prevail Thursday, as the temperature rises to the upper-60s. However, there is a chance of showers, mainly after midnight, the NWS says. The low temperature will be in the low-50s, and the odds of precipitation are rated about 30 percent.
Friday is expected to be cloudy, with a chance of showers, and a high temperature in the upper-60s. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent, the NWS says. There remains a chance of showers Friday night, as the temperature dips to the low-50s. Odds of nighttime precipitation are about 30 percent.
The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is cloudy with a chance of showers and temperatures in the mid-60s.
