Darien forecast: Chilly today, warm later
Today's temperatures, recovering from one of the coldest nights in several weeks, should rise to a high in the low-40s, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies across southwestern Connecticut will be sunny, with a north wind around 9 mph, then becoming southwest.
Tonight, skies will be clear and the low temperature will fall to about 32 degrees. There will be a south wind around 6 mph, the NWS says.
A warming trend settles over the region tomorrow, as the high temperature is expected in the low-50s under sunny skies. Nighttime will be partly cloudy and the low temperature should be about 40 degrees.
Thursday should be even warmer, with a high temperature that could hit 60 degrees under sunny skies. There is a chance of showers Thursday night, with cloudy conditions and a low temperature in the low-40s.
On Friday, there remains a chance of showers before 11 a.m., the weather service predicts, with a high temperature about 50 degrees.
