
Darien forecast: Cloudy, showers possible
The region today is expected to avoid the downpours and flooding that erupted yesterday, but occasional showers are possible under cloudy skies.
Showers are more likely after 1 p.m. today, according to the National Weather Service, as the temperature rises to a high in the mid-60s. Skies will remain gray throughout the day, with a northwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is rated about 20 percent.
Tonight there remains a slight chance of showers, with cloudy skies and temperatures dipping to the low-50s. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent, the NWS says.
Tomorrow, showers again are possible as skies remain cloudy and the high temperature is in the upper-60s. Chance of precipitation is about 40 percent. Possible showers remain in the forecast tomorrow night, as the temperature registers a low in the low-50s. Chance of precipitation is about 30 percent.
On Monday, there is a slight chance of showers before noon, the NWS says. Otherwise skies will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 70 degrees. Overnight, there is a slight chance of showers after midnight as skies turn mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
The outlook for Tuesday, according to the weather service, is for possible showers again and temperatures in the upper-60s.
