Darien forecast: More wet weather

The overnight rain is expected to ease this morning, but scattered precipitation remains possible the rest of the day, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies will be mostly today cloudy across southwestern Connecticut as the daytime high temperature will rise to the mid-40s. There will be an east wind about 7 mph, and a chance of precipitation rated at 30 percent by the NWS.
Tonight, there will be steady rain again across the region, mainly after 11 p.m., as well as patchy fog as the temperature dips to a low of about 40 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent.
Rain is likely tomorrow as well, primarily before 11 a.m., with scattered showers possible after noon. It will be cloudy and the temperature will reach a high in the mid-50s. Odds of precipitation are about 70 percent.
Tomorrow night there is a slight chance of showers before 11 p.m. as the low temperature registers in the mid-30s. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Wednesday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-40s. It also will be breezy, with a northwest wind 14 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the low-30s.
Thursday should be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the mid-40s. Rain is likely Thursday night, with a low temperature in the mid-30s. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is cloudy, temperatures in the 40s and possible precipitation.
