Today will be sunny and pleasant, but the National Weather Service warns that southwestern Connecticut should expect snow tomorrow.

Under clear skies, the today's high temperature should reach the mid-40s, with a west wind between 10 and 15 mph.

Tonight, clouds will increase as the temperature falls to a low in the upper-20s. There will be a north wind around 6 mph becoming calm.

Snow is expected to start falling across the region tomorrow afternoon, then later changing to a mix of snow, rain and sleet overnight. The daytime high temperature is to be in the upper-30s. After several inches of accumulation, the precipitation is expected to change to all rain late tomorrow as the temperature falls to the low-30s.

A wintry mix of snow and rain is possible Thursday morning, changing to all rain later. Skies will be mostly cloudy and the high temperature will be in the mid-40s. There is a slight chance of rain before midnight as the low temperature drops to the low-30s.

Friday should be partly sunny, the weather service predicts, with a high temperature in the mid-40s.
