Today should be mostly sunny, but just like the last several days, the National Weather Service says there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.

The possibility of more scattered showers across southwestern Connecticut is greatest after 1 p.m., as the temperature rises to a high in the mid-70s. There will be a north wind between 3 and 5 mph.

Tonight, there remains a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 p.m., and the low temperature will be in the mid-50s.

Tomorrow, will also be sunny, but the NWS says there again is a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The day will be warmer, with a high temperature about 80 degrees. There is a nighttime chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 p.m. as the temperature falls to a low of about 60 degrees.

Saturday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-70s. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday night as skies turn cloudy and the temperature registers a low in the low-60s.

The outlook for Sunday, according to the weather service, is for partly sunny skies and temperatures in the low-80s.
