Superintendent Stephen Falcone and Board of Education Chairman Betsy Hagerty-Ross announced Elizabeth Wesolowski as the new assistant director for elementary special education on Thursday, July 5.

Wesolowski has worked with both special and general education teachers in her current role as the district program integration coordinator, according to the announcement, which also said she was a special education teacher.

Wesolowski has two master's degrees in teaching and educational leadership, and is currently working toward a doctoral degree in the executive leadership program at the College of New Rochelle.
