DARIEN — The frigid, freezing weather is helping to make indoor activities that much warmer & more welcoming.

And so on Friday afternoon Darien Library hosted a well-attended winter crafts activity for kids, which included coloring and mitten-related artwork.

“We’re just going to be collaging a winter mitten,” said Baily Ring, children’s librarian.

More than 20 kids took part, making an array of projects to take home.

“We kind of give them the idea, but they really get to create for themselves what they like best,” Ring said.
