Meko is one of many dogs who was surrendered to Adopt-A-Dog due to relocation. Meko is a shy, sweet dog who gets along with some other dogs and is good with cats. He has also lived with children and is recommended in a home that can keep him company.
Adopt-A-Dog is a dog and cat rescue sanctuary organization serving New York and Connecticut and beyond for three decades. The shelter is open seven days a week. Its dedicated staff and volunteers strive to provide the best care possible while the animals are at our shelter awaiting safe and permanent homes.
For three decades, Adopt-A-Dog has been "Coming to the Rescue" by meeting the medical and emotional needs of dogs and cats and maintaining its position in the battle of over-population by neutering all creatures that enter the shelter. It remains their choice to help.
Adopt-A-Dog's steadfast goal is to reach out to the next generation of pet owners to promote responsible lifetime ownership.
