Bodega hosting 'Dia de Los Muertos'
Published 1:15 pm, Monday, October 28, 2013
Bodega Taco Bar will host Dia de Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, one of Mexico's most important festivals since pre-Hispanic times, on Saturday, Nov. 2.
While it may sound a bit macabre, the festival is actually met with great joy as families gather to welcome the souls of the departed on their annual visit home.
The party will take place at both Bodega Taco Bar locations -- 980 Post Road in Darien and 1700 Post Road in Fairfield.
Bodega will offer lunchtime face painting and tattoos for the kids, food and cocktail specials, traditional sugar skull-decorating demonstrations and a late-night party with live music.
