Darien Police Department Scam Alert - Monday, June 25, 12:30 p.m.

Officers Keri Isaac and Luke Adams from the Darien Police Department will cover the topic of scams frequently done on seniors. The officers will explain what to look out for, what to do if you think you have been scammed, and what to do to prevent it from ever happening. Along with all the information, the police department will also be sharing a few take home gifts with the seniors who attend.

Historical Series with Art Gottlieb - Tuesday July 3, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

On May 6, 1935, the Works Progress Administration was created to help provide economic relief to the citizens of the United States who were suffering through the Great Depression. The Federal Art Project was one of the divisions of the W.P.A. created under Federal Project One. Gottlieb will discuss the history of the W.P.A. murals and present pictures of these works of art.
