At the FCIAC Championships on Thursday, Feb. 3, the Darien Blue Wave claimed fourth place out of 14 teams by scoring 60 points. Danbury won by scoring 93 points.

In the 55-meter (preliminaries), Stockton McMullin claimed sixth place with a time of 6.83 seconds and Corey Eppley came in 14th place in 7.04 seconds. McMullin's time earned him a spot in the 55-meter finals where he finished fifth out of seven in 6.89 seconds.

Kevin Keller won the 300-meter dash by clocking in at 35.82 seconds, Eppley took ninth place with a time of 37.78 seconds and Matt Pik took 11th with a time of 37.80 seconds. Pik also took fifth place in the 600-meter with a time of 1:28.94.

In the 1,600-meter, John Conley took fifth place by clocking in at 4:34.47, Charlie Baird came in ninth with a time of 4:47.43, Michael Coe came in 10th with a time of 4:47.66 and Michael Johnston came in 12th with a time of 4:49.38. Johnston also took fourth place in the 3,200-meter with a time of 10:10.27, Baird came in eighth with a time of 10:21.84 and Coe came in ninth with a time of 10:28.54.

Austin Cockerhill won the high jump, Harlan Smith came in eighth place and Cameron Smith came in 11th place. In pole vault, Colin Vanderhorn tied for ninth place.

Keller also won the long jump, McMullin came in second place, Nicholas Lombardo tied for 10th place and Cameron Smith came in 15th place. In shot put, Peter McDonough came in fifth place.
