The gray, wet skies of the last few days will clear today over southwestern Connecticut, but blustery winds early this morning have promoted the National Weather Service to issue a "wind advisory" for the region.

Even though it will be sunny, the NWS says, the high temperature will rise only to the mid-40s. There will be a west wind between 9 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.

Tonight should be mostly clear, with a low around 32 degrees. The west wind will calm to around 6 mph.

Tomorrow is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 50 degrees. Nighttime skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 35 degrees, the NWS says.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a daytime high temperature only about 40 degrees. Saturday night should be clear, with a low around 25 degrees.

Sunday, the weather service predicts, will also be sunny, with a high near 42 degrees.
