
Darien forecast: Rain on the way
Rain is on the horizon for this otherwise balmy day in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.
After morning fog lifts, there is a roughly 50 percent chance of rain later this morning and this evening, but temperatures will rise to a daytime high in the mid-60s under cloudy skies. There will be a north wind between 3 and 8 mph.
There's the chance of more rain overnight as the temperature falls to a low of about 42 degrees.
Tomorrow, Veterans Day, will be mostly sunny with a high temperature near 52 degrees, the NWS says. It will be breezy, with a west wind between 15 and 21 mph, gusting as high as 31 mph.
Tomorrow night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 36 degrees.
Saturday should be sunny, with a high near 56 degrees. Some clouds will move in Saturday night with a low around 43.
On Sunday, skies will be bright, the weather service predicts, with a high near 60.
