At the FCIAC Championships on Thursday, Feb. 3, the Darien Blue Wave claimed second place out of 14 teams by scoring 75.7 points, finishing just behind Danbury's 79 points.

In the 55-meter (preliminaries), Catherine Lacy took third place with a time of 7.60 seconds. Lacy's time put her in the 55-meter finals where she came in second place out of seven with a time of 7.52 seconds.

In the 600-meter, Dillon Schoen and Amanda Dobler took fifth and ninth place with times of 1:43.05 and 1:44.44, respectively. In the 1,000 meter, Megan Keane claimed third place with a time of 3:10.77, McKinley Stauffer took seventh with a time of 3:19.21 and Alex Pear took ninth with a time of 3:20.38. In the 1,600-meter, Grace Loh and Sarah Colon finished fourth and fifth with times of 5:29.84 and 5:30.10, respectively. In the 3,200-meter, Katie Farren took ninth place with a time of 12:23.21.

In the high jump, Leah Hotchkiss took fifth place. In pole vault, Elizabeth Crafford, Lee Bolton and Charlotte Phillips took second, fourth and fifth place, respectively. Lacy also took third place in the long jump. In shot put, Niya Wright and Victoria Kominek took fifth and eighth place.
