The Lion's Den Book & Gift Store is celebrating its five-year anniversary as a spiritual outreach from St Mark's to the larger community, providing resources to individuals and worshipping communities in Fairfield County.
The Lion's Den is open to the public and filled with merchandise that includes religious books, gifts, music, jewelry and cards suitable for every occasion from birthdays to coming of age celebrations, baptisms and weddings. Book titles and gift items are representative of major religions and include Bibles, books on spirituality, prayer, meditation, religious fiction and Judea, as well as sections for children, parenting, family life and teens. Holiday items are already on the shelves and going quickly.
In addition to hosting celebrations coinciding with the church calendar, the store hosts authors and inspirational speakers with topics ranging from illuminated manuscripts to family and children events to jewelry trunk shows.
