Leyla Saah, daughter of Faris Saah and Zeynep Aricanli, of Darien, was named to the dean's list at Choate Rosemary Hall for the winter term.

Katherine Grozier, of Darien, a sophomore at Colgate University, traveled to Turkey during spring break as part of an interfaith study group. Grozier is a graduate of Darien High School.

The interfaith trip brought students from a wide spectrum of personal beliefs to immerse themselves in the culture and traditions of Turkey. Students spent a week learning outside the classroom, visiting holy sites and experiencing Turkish culture.

Emily Wigglesworth, of Darien, a member of the Class of 2015 at Eastern Connecticut State University, was awarded the Dr. Robert W. Dolph Scholarship Award.

Wigglesworth's major is pre-early childhood education and sociology.

Camilla Taufic, a graduate of Darien High School, has been invited by the Rhodes College Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa (Gamma of Tennessee) to join the society as a member-in-course.

Taufic is one of only 40 seniors elected to membership in the Rhodes chapter this year.
