'Dr. Z' to share journey with cancer

Robert Zembroski, D.C., the director of the Darien Center for Integrative Medicine, will share his own story and victory over cancer in the "Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies" series at the Norwalk Public Library at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12.
Zembroski, known around Fairfield County as "Dr. Z", returns to the library, 1 Belden Ave., Norwalk, with "Cancer Victor: 5 Inch Tumor, 5 Years and 5 Plus Tools On How To Prevent Cancer Or It's Return!" This is the first session in a series of four by Zembroski.
The others are Oct. 10 for "Inflammation and Autoimmune Disorders: The Secrets Your Doctor Is Not Sharing With You"; Nov. 14, "The Body Composition DIET, Part 1: How To Make Life-long Changes In Your Body Composition Without Giving Up Your Favorite Foods"; and Dec. 12, "The Body Composition DIET, Part 2: Holiday Special -- Fit By January -- What Workouts and Meals Work Best During Holiday Time?"
Zembroski is a chiropractic physician, a board-certified chiropractic neurologist, a clinical nutritionist, a specialist in functional medicine, author and public speaker. As a fitness enthusiast, he consults and lectures on body composition and weight management.
