State Sen. Bob Duff, D-25, is seeking input from residents of Darien and Norwalk on an online survey, which takes just a few minutes to complete.

"In a democracy, everyone's opinion matters," said Duff. "We get a chance to express those opinions at every election, but I find a lot of value in getting more regular updates on people's views. I will use the feedback from this online survey to inform and guide my upcoming votes on important bills this legislative session. The survey only takes five minutes to complete, so I hope everyone will take a little time to fill it out."

The survey is available at www.SenatorDuffSurvey.com. Topics include:

various ways to balance the state budget

how to help businesses

how to create jobs

the minimum wage

energy planning and deregulation

health care

cuts to local hospitals

gun violence

reinstating tolls

educational choices

senior issues

response to Sandy Hook

tree removal

genetically modified food labeling

early voting

At the end of the survey, respondents may also add comments or suggestions on any other issues.
