Food Fair back for Memorial Day fun

Darien EMS-Post 53's annual Food Fair returns to Tilley Park Pond on Monday, May 27, following the Memorial Day parade.
The fair, which raises money to support the community's emergency medical services, begins immediately after the parade and continues until 3 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the gate.
The fair will include a silent auction and an array of boutiques featuring local artisans, CPR demonstrations, ambulance tours and blood pressure checks.
Food selections new this year are crab salad from Fisherman's Net, Southwestern veggie wraps from the Goose, homemade doughnuts made onsite by Postie's Non-Stop Donut Shop and warm Bavarian pretzels. Also available will be hamburgers and bratwurst from Palmer's, pulled-pork sandwiches from Smoky Joe's, smoothies from Robek's, salad and gazpacho from Michael Joseph's, and baked goods.
The Family Fun Zone will be filled with games and crafts. New this year is Zumba, hosted by Amber Allen from Flair Fitness in Darien.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Lost Causes, which features Darien High School students.
