Traffic was jammed on Interstate 95 northbound in Darien about two hours Wednesday morning, following a collision between a tractor-trailer truck and two other vehicles shortly after 10 a.m.

The highway's right and center lanes were closed as police and emergency crews worked to clear the accident, which took place between exits 12 and 13. Traffic headed north backed up more than 5 miles between Exits 8 and 13.

It took more than an hour and a half to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
