DARIEN — It was a hole for fun, and lots of good support for Darien Library, which hosted its 3rd annual Mini Golf event Saturday.

Hundreds of kids came by throughout the day to play a course that stretched over three floors, in and out of book stacks and between aisles.

“It’s a great normally outdoor activity that you get to do indoors in an unconventional facility,” said Rick Bolton, owner of the Trumbull-based Library Mini Golf.

His company does close to 50 library events a year in 23 different states around the country.
