The Knicks held the Lakers to six second half points, including a scoreless stretch of over one and a half quarters, rallying from an early double-digit deficit to defeat the previously undefeated Lakers, 28-27.

For the Knicks (3-1), Peter Ridder scored a game-high 12 points. Liam Gallagher, who played a strong defensive game by notching five blocked shots and five steals, added six points. Justin Plank was also a strong contributor on defense. Etienne von Gerichten and PK Brannigan had four points each.

For the Lakers, Nick Percapio scored a game-high nine points.
