As the producers, directors and more than 80 volunteers put the finishing touches on the Darien Arts Center's annual fundraising event, "Darien's Got Talent," there are many local businesses that have stepped forward to help ensure the evening will be a success.

"Without the involvement and generous support our local sponsors -- Bank of America; Baywater Properties; Grove Street Plaza; Halstead Property; Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich; Nielsen's Florist; Dr. David Osherow, Orthodontist; Palmer's Market; SBD Kitchens LLC and Andrew Stefanou Salon & Spa -- this evening would not have been made possible," said co-executive producer Patty Mozingo.

"Darien's Got Talent" will feature 20 performances at the live, finals competition at the Darien High School auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. Producers for the event include Pat Atkin, Mary Crawford, Carol Glassmeyer, Pam Heckel, Catherine McNear, Patty Mozingo, Cathy Thomas and Anne Wright. Directing the production is Carole Claps. Chris Coogan is music director.

The event supports the Darien Arts Center, which offers educational programming in dance, visual arts, theater and music.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for students and children. Premium seating at $125 includes a ticket to the pre-event reception, which is being catered and sponsored by Palmer's Market. To purchase tickets, visit arts.darien.org. For information, call 203-655-8683.
