On March 10 and 11, the Darien High School football team is proud to be holding its third annual Lift-A-Thon in honor of Grace Wohlberg. "Lifting Grace" will take place at Darien High School from 3 to 5 p.m. Four years ago, Grace Wohlberg, sister of Blue Wave football alumnus Michael, was diagnosed with Rasmussen's Encephalitis ("RE"). RE is a neurological disease that causes seizures, paralysis and cognitive decline. DHS football players are raising money for the RE Children's Project, a foundation founded by Grace's father, Seth, for the primary purpose to find a cure for this devastating disease. Please support the players and agree to donate funds for each pound they lift.
Contact any of the players or Coach Rob Trifone (firstname.lastname@example.org) to make a donation. Checks should be made payable to the RE Children's Project.
