Man arrested for marijuana and intent to sell
Richard Daly, 40, of New Fairfield, was arrested June 7 for possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.
An officer was running radar when he noticed Daly's 1997 Ford Aerostar speeding on Dubois Street, police said. While talking to Daly, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana in the vehicle.
Daly denied having any marijuana in the vehicle but said he smoked a joint earlier that day. Zulu conducted a search of the vehicle and indicated there was marijuana in various portions of the vehicle. Officers found a Ziploc bag with four individually wrapped packets of marijuana under the front passenger seat, police said.

He posted a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 20.
