Man suspected in numerous larcenies is charged
Paul Kurensky, 43, of 5 Union St., Norwalk, was arrested on Friday, April 12, on several charges in connection with thefts earlier this year and in 2012, according to police.
He was charged with one count of third-degree larceny, three counts of fifth-degree larceny and one count of simple trespass.
The Darien Police Department's Detective Bureau took Kurensky into custody via warrant for the theft of four back pack leaf blowers in 2012 and the theft of copper gutters from two homes earlier this year, according to the report.
Police said Kurensky's "co-conspirator," Christopher Rodia, 44, of 19 Vollmer Ave., Norwalk, was charged in 2012 for similar crimes, said police.
Kurensky was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday, April 12.
