N.Y. man charged with DWI

Isaac Davis, 32, from Mount Vernon, N.Y., was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to drive right on Saturday, May 5, at 11 p.m. According to the report, Davis was driving a 2004 BMW 325XI westbound on the Post Road in the eastbound lane of travel. Police stopped the car in the area of Thorndal Circle. Davis failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest.
He posted a $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court May 15. Police said the bond was imposed due to Davis' "lengthy criminal history," which included assault, possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics, sale of narcotics, criminal possession of a firearm, parole violation, bail jumping and driving while intoxicated, all of which took place in New York.
