A minor accident in the Stop & Shop parking lot resulted in a New York woman being arrested after she refused to cooperate with police officers.

Anna Salaam, 39, of Warwick, N.Y., was arrested March 16 for breach of peace and refusal to be fingerprinted, police said.

According to the report, Salaam was involved in a minor accident in the parking lot of Stop & Shop at 3 p.m. when she attempted to pass a Wilton woman on the left while the woman was attempting to turn left into a parking space, police said.

The Wilton woman said Salaam was making her nervous by taking photos of her and her 3-year-old daughter, police said. At one point, the woman told officers Salaam leaned into her vehicle and gave the middle finger to her and her daughter, police said.

While officers were interviewing the Wilton woman, Salaam kept interrupting and was told to return to her vehicle five times, police said. When Salaam refused to stay in her vehicle, she was arrested, police said. She refused to let officers fingerprint her while at the police station, police said. She eventually agreed to be fingerprinted at 7:30 p.m.

Salaam posted a $50 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 30.
