Bryant Vargas, 23, of Norwalk, was charged with two counts of violation of a protective order Feb. 13.
A 2008 Infiniti G35 was observed traveling west on the Post Road at 9:22 p.m. and was stopped near the entrance to I-95 due to having extremely dark tinted windows and an aftermarket blue rear license plate light, police said. After stopping the vehicle, the officer discovered there were two protective orders against Vargas and his female passenger was the protected person, police said. Varas later admitted he wasn't supposed to be with the female passenger and the protective orders were the result of a domestic violence incident, according to the report.
