"Lend Me a Tenor" by Ken Ludwig, a popular farce comedy directed by Tom Butterworth, in summer 2014.

"New Canaan is `Our Town,' and is a perfect place to do this play," said Sheri Dean, co-president of the Town Players. "We have a distinct identity and plenty of colorful characters, just as they do in Grover's Corners," the fictional setting for Wilder's play.

Petrak, who also directed the production "Of Mice and Men" at the Powerhouse Theatre in May, said, "Thornton Wilder uses universal characters who could live anywhere at any time, so there are parts for actors of many ages and types."
