Police arrested Sunil Rajan, 47, of New Canaan, for disorderly conduct Sept. 9 in connection with a domestic dispute.

Police arrested two individuals for drug possession after receiving a report for a suspicious vehicle Sept. 9 at 5 p.m..

According to the report, police observed Jennifer Stuart, 33, of Ocean Side, N.Y., standing by a 2000 Ford Explorer at 350 Heights Road with all the doors open and clothing on the ground. Stuart told the officers she was cleaning the car to go pick up friends but was unable to tell the officers where the friends lived, police said.

While police questioned Stuart, Matthew Wolf, 40, of San Francisco, walked over to the car. Police said he appeared disheveled and smelled strongly of alcohol.

Both Wolf and Stuart have criminal histories involving narcotics, police said.

The department's K-9, Zulu, was called in to search the vehicle and found a glass pipe with marijuana residue, a metal pipe with marijuana residue, a glassine bag with one gram of marijuana and a glass pipe used for smoking crack cocaine, police said.

Stuart and Wolf were charged with possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Stuart was also charged with possession of narcotics for having a small amount of cocaine.

They were held in lieu of $2,500 bond and appeared in court Sept. 10.

A Stamford man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and speeding on Sept. 9

Matthew Dennis, 26, of Stamford was pulled over near Stony Brook Road after police observed him traveling west on West Avenue in a 2008 Subaru. Dennis was traveling 55 mph in a 35 mph zone. Officers said they detected a strong odor of alcohol on Dennis.

He was released on $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 20.

A Norwalk man was arrested after following women Sept. 10 at 10:50 a.m. police said.

Pedro Estrada, 30, of Norwalk, was arrested after two separate incidents were reported by local walkers, police said.

The first incident occurred on Rings End Road where a woman said Estrada was following her and then asked where she lived. The woman wouldn't tell Estrada her address, and, after failing to get her phone number, Estrada asked if he could touch the woman, police said.

A second incident occurred on Pear Tree Point where two women were out walking and observed Estrada following them. When they started to walk faster, Estrada also walked faster, police said.

Estrada was charged with breach of peace and was held in lieu of $1,000 bond.

He appeared in court Sept. 13.

Police arrested a Rowayton man for driving while intoxicated and attempting to drive through the barricade set up near West Avenue while crews work on the railroad bridge.

Officers observed Phillip Ripperger, 49, of Rowayton, attempting to drive through the barricade at 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 10 on Post Road in his 1994 Nissan Altima. When an officer approached Ripperger's vehicle, he smelled a strong odor of alcohol.

Ripperger posted $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 21.
