A Darien resident had his bike stolen from the Noroton Heights Train Station on Sept. 20, police said. The bike was a $500 replica of a 1940's style bike and was locked with a cable lock, police said. The owner of the bike left it at 6 a.m. and when he returned at 5:10 p.m., the bike was gone, police said.

Police arrested Shayne Smith, 30, of Norwalk, on Sept. 22 for possession of marijuana, misuse of a license plate and operating an unregistered vehicle.
At 3:30 p.m., Smith was traveling west on Post Road when an officer observed his vehicle, a 1997 Chevy Tahoe, did not have a front plate, police said. Smith consented to a search of his vehicle and officers found a plastic bag with blunt type shavings and a green bag in the passenger compartment that was emitting a strong odor.
Smith was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 4

A vehicle was stolen from the Noroton Heights Train Station on Sept. 25, police said. The vehicle was a 2004 Toyota Sienna valued at about $10,000, police said.
The vehicle was parked in the train station lot at 2 p.m. and when the owner returned at 9 p.m., the vehicle was gone, police said.
The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were left in the center console, police said. The vehicle had a few clothing items and a number of DVD's in it at the time of the theft, police said.

Police responded to a vehicle burglary on Sept. 26 at a Talmadge Hill residence.
The burglary happened between 5 p.m. on Sept. 22 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 23, police said. The owner did not report the theft until Sunday because he said he was too busy, police said.
Numerous golf items valued at $2,150 were in the vehicle at the time of the theft, police said.
