Purchases made on stolen credit cards

A $300 laptop and a wallet were stolen from an unlocked 2006 Chevrolet Express at Avalon Darien between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 6, according to police.
A pouch containing the vehicle's registration and insurance card and $20 was also were stolen.
After the wallet was stolen, the owner canceled his cards, police said, but two fraudulent charges, $3.82 and $4.13, were made at the Main Street Dunkin Donuts in Stamford.
