SCORE, Darien Library sponsor small business workshops

Darien Library is hosting a new series of free workshops for small businesses, "Five Building Blocks of Growth," Tuesdays in October from 6 to 8 p.m., with check-in starting at 5:30. Sessions will meet in the Mezzanine Level conference room, 1441 Post Road. The series is co-sponsored by Fairfield County SCORE and is being coordinated by SCORE counselor John Harmon, managing director of Adulant Consulting Services. He will be joined by other business professionals.
All small businesses are welcome, but content will be most relevant to those in business at least three years. The interactive sessions are:

Oct. 8: Building a Winning Plan to Grow Your Business;
Oct. 15: Tapping Your People's Potential;
Oct. 22: The Thinking Person's Guide to Sales; and
Oct. 29: Stop Leaking Cash: Simple Methods for Improving Your Operations.
Participants may attend the entire series or only sessions that fit their calendar.
