Stamford man charged with DUI
Jonathan Cohen, 31, of 25 Forest St., apartment 9B, Stamford, was arrested June 28 on a charge of driving under the influence, his second offense, according to police.
Cohen was arrested during a joint Stamford-Darien checkpoint in Stamford.
He told a Darien police officer that he had come from a restaurant and had consumed three whiskey sours but that he believed he was able to drive, police said.
Cohen's eyes were glassy and "droopy," police said, and his speech was slurred.
He told police he "may or may not have" been prescribed or taken Adderall, police said.
Cohen was arrested on a DUI charge in New York in 2009, according to police.
He posted $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 26.
