Stamford woman charged with violating protective order in Darien
DARIEN — Police arrested a 19-year-old Stamford woman after she allegeldy violated a protective order preventing her from entering the home of a Darien resident.
Diana Laura Herrera-Tututi, of Hope Street, arrived at a Noroton Avenue house on April 10 around 1:45 p.m. after being invited over by the victim. Upon arrival, she and the victim began arguing and the victim told her to leave.
Around 2:18 p.m., police responded to the house on a report of a domestic dispute. There, they found there was an active protective order prohibiting the Stamford woman from being at the home. Herrera-Tututi told police she thought the order applied only to the victim’s former address.
Police arrested Herrera-Tututi for violation of a protective order. She was released that night around 10:30 p.m. on a promise to appear.
